The development and implementation of creative social entrepreneurial workshops, within the Bukidnon indigenous community, in collaboration with local organisations, government, schools, businesses, musicians and artists.
Location- Bukidnon Community, Negros, Philippines
September 2010 – Consultations began between Nomadic Hands and Anti Child Labor organisations throughout the Philippines. Bantay Bata 163, Bacolod and Nomadic Hands initiated a partnership. The development of creative social entrepreneurial workshops commenced with the help of Dr. Divina Edralin from De La Salle University, Manila.
November 2011– Consultations within the Bukidnon indigenous community took place. A need for environmental protection, cultural rejuvenation and economic development was identified.
January 2012– Practical demonstrations of creative social entrepreneurial workshops were held were held for Bantay Bata and the Bukidnon community, in Sitio Sibato.
February 2012– A community building workshop and cultural performance took place within the community, in relation to relevant social business education.
